About me
I’m Jasmine Jayakody, an engineer with a love for data science, a public speaker, and a total bookworm. I have a serious love for technology, coding, and robotics. I spend half my time knee-deep in a project; building, experimenting, and bringing ideas to life. Whether it’s working on innovative tech solutions or exploring new possibilities in automation, I’m always excited to learn and create.
When I’m not working with numbers and algorithms, you’ll probably find me buried in a romance novel or watching a movie (preferably with a great love story).
I’m also an Area Director in Toastmasters, where I get to help others grow as speakers and leaders—something I’m super passionate about! Beyond that, I love compering events, bringing energy and engagement to the stage while ensuring smooth and memorable experiences for audiences. Before that, I was a math teacher at an international school, which was an amazing experience.
But my biggest dream? To become a best-selling author one day! I’ve always loved storytelling, and I hope to create books that people can fall in love with.
