The project required transitioning from an outdated file-oriented system to a fully automated database solution to improve efficiency and data management.

 

Project Highlights:

• System Design: Developed an Entity-Relationship (ER) Model and a Logical Database Design to meet specific user and system requirements.
• Database Implementation: Built a relational database using SQL Server Management, including customer management, installation details, staff records, equipment management, and payment processing.
• Security and Validation: Implemented a login system, data validation, and future enhancements for access level handling.
• Testing and Maintenance: Provided a test plan, conducted system testing, collected user feedback, and established a maintenance schedule to ensure database stability.

This assignment showcases technical expertise in database design, SQL development, system security, and effective project management, demonstrating a strong understanding of relational database principles and business process automation.
